VELOCACHE is a game played with bicycles. The basic idea is to find (and hide) caches based on images of our town. You will need four things to play velocache:
1. a bicycle
2. a camera/phone that you can take pictures with
3. a computer with an internet connection and
4. an account with velocache.
By studying the images that are "in play" (the ones with green titles) you can find what is hidden. Once found, take pictures that mimic the ones you used to find it in the first place and take the cache "down" (via your phone or back at home with your computer). It is yours! After that you can start hiding them and thus begin your new adventures in VELOCACHE!
I know, this can be confusing to the first timer. DON'T WORRY, there are plenty of people out there willing to help explain how this thing works. You can refer to the HOWTO section above for a more in depth set of instructions (like how to do everything from your mobile device) or you can always e-mail the velocache technical support line as well: bart @ velocache dot net.
there is a 1949 Hiwatha bike in okay condition at 1220 N 20th St for sale. I asked how much and they said they are taking bids, obviously too much for my unemployed self. No affiliation.
They also had a bag that could work as a messenger bag for $1.
